Guest Amish author, Samantha Price

Recently I was a guest author on the blog, Christians Read - a wonderful blog where authors and readers can come together to discuss books.

Introducing Guest Author Samantha Price

Samantha Price
I’ve always loved to read for as far back as I can remember. When I reached my teens I loved to read any romance I could get my hands on.
Writing in the Amish romance genre was natural for me as I’d been raised in a strict Brethren (Anabaptist) household, which has similar roots to the Amish.
My first books were in a series called Amish Romance Secrets, and I was overwhelmed with the response from readers. I have written over one hundred Amish mysteries and Amish romances.
The Amish Girl
One series I really enjoyed writing is the Amish Misfits series. I’ve always felt a bit of a misfit myself with my religious upbringing making me feel so different from others.  Book 1 is the Amish Girl Who Never Belonged. Book 6 in the series, Jeremiah’s Daughter, is due for release on December 1

About Samantha:
Samantha Price is a best selling author who knew she wanted to become a writer at the age of seven, while her grandmother read to her Peter Rabbit in the sun room. Though the adventures of Peter and his sisters Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail started Samantha on her creative journey, it is now her love of Amish culture that inspires her to write. Her writing is clean and wholesome, with more than a dash of sweetness. Though she has penned over one hundred and twenty Amish Romance and Amish Mystery books, Samantha is just as in love today with exploring the spiritual and emotional journeys of her characters as she was the day she first put pen to paper. Samantha lives in a quaint Victorian cottage with three rambunctious dogs.
Samantha loves to hear from her readers.

As Sarah spends more time with Peter, her feelings for him grow, yet Peter suddenly seems uninterested in her.

Review of The Amish Bachelor - A sweet Amish romance.

The Amish Bachelor, Samantha Price

from Red headed book lover blog

Isaac Fuller knows where his life is headed. He’s the oldest of seven sons and will eventually take over the family joinery business. Everything was fine until his father employed Hazel Bauer. Isaac had nearly committed to Mary Lou, but there was something about Hazel that gave him second thoughts.
When Hazel tells him something shocking about Mary Lou, Isaac has to work out whether there’s another side to Hazel. Is she as sweet as she appears? As Isaac tries to find out more about the mysterious Hazel, Mary Lou pressures him into committing to marriage. With Isaac under pressure to marry, will he make the wrong decision?
Will Isaac choose a girl he has known all his life or the secretive woman he barely knows?
The Amish Bachelor is a novel that can only be described as a sweeping romance but with a suspenseful twist! This book is enchanting and I adored every second of it. It is a charming read that will captivate you from the very beginning, I loved how this novel was told by a man as opposed to a woman. Normally, all the romances I read are from the female perspective! So I adored so much that the author of the novel, Samantha Price decided to write a romance from a male perspective.
The Amish Bachelor follows, well, an Amish bachelor! Isaac Fuller is the oldest of 7 brothers and great things are ahead for him. He is set to marry a sweet, kind woman called Mary Lou and he is destined to inherit the family business in which he will run. However, things soon start to get complicated as his father has other ideas. His father has employed a young woman called Hazel to do the bookkeeping for the family business. Hazel is a mysterious woman and questions need to be answered but something is starting to ignite between Hazel and Isaac and this could prove disastrous for all parties involved and this is the premise of this wonderful, thought-provoking novel.
The story of The Amish Bachelor is a sweet one but as I read this I also felt a sense of dread because I had no idea what was going to happen and where the story would end up. This is because when Hazel is introduced to the picture, things start to go wrong in the sense that Isaac starts to doubt the lovely Mary Lou. When Hazel appeared I thought “Damn… really?! Please do not let this woman corrupt him”. It truly does make for a thrilling read and if you adore romances with complicated themes then you will adore this incredible book.
Samantha Price is a newly discovered author of mine and I am so annoyed that I have only just now discovered her! She is a wonderfully talented author who is well accomplished in the genre of romance. This is the first book of hers I have read but gosh I need to read more! I want to get lost in more of her incredible, different stories. Her writing is simply breath-taking and for that, I am in awe; her descriptions of the settings and characters around her are visually descriptive and stunning. The whole way through reading this book I felt compelled, I was addicted to the story-line and so desperately wanted to reach the end to find out what was going to happen! This is a testament to Prices’ flawless and eloquent writing and I really am looking forward to what she writes next.
To summarize my thoughts on this sweeping romance, if you adore sweet books with depth that will stay in your mind for a long time then this inspiring book is for you! This stunning piece of literature gets Five Stars from me.
Thank you so much for reading book lovers, I deeply appreciate it and love discussing wonderful books with all of you so please, comment below and let me know your thoughts on The Amish Bachelor; do you see yourself reading this book? Is it not your usual cup of tea? Let me know all of those brilliant thoughts of yours below! Thank you so much again for reading!

New in the Seven Amish Bachelors series - Forbidden Amish Romance

Now on Pre-Order through Amazon.
Book #4 Seven Amish Bachelors

Now that three of his brothers were married and one had a child, Jacob wanted the life they had. Even though he was one of the most eligible bachelors in his Amish community, there was one particular woman who captured his attention. She was different from the others—lively, witty, and charming; in fact, the female version of himself. It didn't matter that at times she was spoilt and volatile; a woman like that would keep him on his toes. The only problem was, whatever he did or said, she wouldn't pay him any mind.
Mary Lou knew she hadn't behaved in the best manner toward her friends, and she decided to turn over a new leaf. She put her past behind her and forgot about the men who had rejected her. There was no way she would ever allow herself to fall for another of the Fuller brothers. It was never going to happen, or was it?
